Hello and welcome to Casual Cultures – it’s nice to have you with us!

Casual Cultures began life as a simple online menswear offering, selling the usual brands worn up and down the country on a Saturday afternoon in any part of the UK. I soon got bored of stocking other people’s products and developed my own in-house brand, Lombes. Lombes took off much bigger than I ever anticipated and although it was amazing to see it do so well, I just didn’t have the time to take it to the next level. The site and brand, combined with having a full-time job, a young son and active football addiction, became too much to handle. As such I stopped trading in 2019 to focus on the important things in life!

Fast forward to today and the pull of Casual Cultures was too strong to fully quit on – I needed something to showcase my creativity and interests. The site is now a blog, where each month I interview a sporting star, fashion designer, up and coming band or anyone else of interest. The original ethos of Casual Cultures still remains. Whether it’s football, fashion, music, or anything in between, if we think the subject is of interest they will feature on the blog.

I come from a small UK city and although the site is a celebration of that working-class mentality, the world is a big place and it’s important to take inspiration from everything and everyone around you. We hope that the uniqueness of each guest will bring people together in some little way.

It’s not just interviews you’ll find on the site either. Our review section will cover the latest releases from all the brands we like – whether you’re a face amongst town, a vintage connoisseur, stylish dad or up and coming lad – we will cover all the brands you know and love and those you don’t but we’re sure you will! If you want to feature on the review site, please just get in touch. We love to hear from new (or existing brands).

So once again, thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy what you read.
