We first spotted Whitehill Mercantile on Instagram, and after exchanging a few DMs were delighted when they sent over some products to feature on the review. For those that may not know, Whitehill Mercantile are based in Glasgow and make bags and accessories built to last, in their own words they are “hardwearing, handmade and don’t follow fast fashion”.
We were sent a number of items but it was the 18oz Selvedge Denim Kit Bag which was the true standout piece. Constructed from, you guessed it, 18oz Denim, it also features brass eyelets, leather drawstrings, front pocket and contrasting finished ends. As Gerry Cinnamon once sung, ‘it’s a belter!’ Football has been one thing I’ve really missed during lockdown and there will be no better bag to sling your Mundials and shinnies in to really stand out on the touchline. In some ways it’s too nice a bag to just use for the football, and that’s probably the best compliment we can give it.
